The Global Express Story
Started in 1962, Global Express has grown to become
one of the largest financial services companies in the United States.

The Global Express Staff
The administrative work required to service a
trustee base of thousands of retailers in thirteen states is a huge task.
Located in Silver Spring, Maryland, the Global Express staff are experts in
every part of the trustee support process. An extensive network of sales
personnel and technical representatives are located in each state. Many trustees
believe all this extra service is the "Global Express advantage." When a machine
acts up or just needs a ribbon or some extra paper there is always someone to
come over to the store and make sure everything is up and running. The Global
Express sales force and technicians work to make sure the trustees are getting
excellent service and technical support.
“America’s Walk-In Bill Payment Company”
In 1996 Global Express decided that a natural
expansion of the money order business would be the walk-in bill payment market.
Walk-in bill pay allows the retailers customers to pay their utility and other
merchant bills in person via the Global Express terminal at the trustee's
location.
The Global Express Bill Payment System has become a
major bill payment company in the industry. Global Express represents hundreds
of utilities merchants and municipalities throughout the United States and
processes multi-millions of payments every year.
Many major utility companies have authorized Global
Express to be their bill payment processor. Companies like: Florida Power and
Light, Baltimore Gas and Electric, Pepco, Washington Gas, Southern Maryland
Electric, Mobile Water, Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, Elkton Gas,
Chattanooga Gas, Florida City Gas, Virginia Natural Gas, Cavalier Telephone,
Chesapeake Utilities, RCN, Broward County Water, NationsLine, Q-Tel and Freedom
Communications USA to name just a few.
